One Law for All’s 10th Anniversary: An International Conference on Sharia, Segregation and Secularism

It’s One Law for All’s 10th anniversary soon.

What better way to celebrate successes and look to the future than an international conference on Sharia, Segregation and Secularism conference with many of the leading figures in the fight for equal rights.

The conference will be held at a spectacular venue in central London on 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, because so much of religious laws target and adversely affect women and minorities.

During the day-long event, distinguished speakers from over 20 countries and the Diaspora will discuss and debate Sharia, religious arbitration, the veil, gender segregation and the importance of secularism as a precondition for women’s and minority rights, amongst others.

For the first time in the UK, there will be a screening of “3 Seconds Divorce,” a documentary on the impact of triple- talaq on Indian Muslim women as well as performances by Atoosa Farahmand, LCP theatre and singer-songwriter Shelley Segal.

Tickets are selling fast for the conference so if you want to be part of this important event, get your tickets today. A ticket will give you access to the full conference, a scrumptious buffet lunch, refreshments, evening cocktails and appetisers and a chance to hear from an incredible array of activists and campaigners.
